animal love

November 4, 2008 by Korshi

I finally finished my paintings for this semester.  I’ll just post them here with minimal commentary, since I’m now exhausted from 36 hours of continuous drawing.

Yummy Mummy

Baby Goats are called Kids

The Closest Living Relative of the T-Rex is the Chicken

The Killer Ape is Dead

And some bonus images… One of my early paintings from the series, and a picture of me in action.

Fucking amazing, Korsh, I love the one with the mice. How big are they?

  2. korshi says:

cheers rich… they’re different sizes, the one with the mice is about 1m high, and about maybe 60 or 70 wide. all the animals are life size, though… the sabretooth tiger one is about 2m x 1m

  3. Simon says:

wow… you really do beautiful work, sir. I love the saber-toothed cat.

It is really nice to see some outstanding dinosaurs that are not too feather covered or with their noses all blown out. I don’t know what you are using for your source material, but dinosaur research seems to be heading in a direction I would rather not go. Progress is one thing, but come on science, at least leave us with cool looking dinosaurs.
