This is just a shout out, and an update to those of you in Sydney who might like to see some of my work in the flesh.. The fantastic Tony Curran is curating an Exhibition called REAL PERSPECTIVE, opening next week (Wednesday 10th December) at the Tap Gallery in Darlinghurst, and going til the 21st. The address is 278 Palmer Street, and from what I’ve seen of the other artists’ work it should be a really good show. Tony is running a blog at http://www.real-perspective.blogspot.com/ , and I hope all 15 of my readers will check it out
Man, I would love to go but theres a minor issue of my being on the other side of the planet… sucks. Good luck with the show.
hi! i’m a luddite and too self-aware to try to be clever. i’d say i’ve no idea why i’m doing this- you’d be surprised at how much someone like me can avoid internet based communication altogether…
but i digress and do not wish to bore you…
it’s nearly dawn and i’ve just stayed up all night surfing the proverbial web. (not a normal activity for me) i was mostly looking up things about tuva, but somehow i branched off and googled “cranium cradle board” because i remembered a theory i had about it a little while back and i was curious what i might find.
well, lo and behold, i stumbled upon your site, and i just wanted to tell you how i have been enjoying as much of it as i could take in. your art is beautiful and you use a lot of pleasing words.
because i have been feeling isolated and lonely (a starchild dilemma? wink wink, nudge, nudge) i must tell you that i don’t meet anybody who can reference doctor who AND write a really thoughtful piece on the irony levels of coolness AND draw some awesome pictures, etc, etc…
anyway, i know how starved creative types can be for some feedback, especially from strangers, and i know this isn’t much, nor particularly constructive, yet still i feel compelled to say:
thank you. i like your art very very much.
